WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CRISTEL® PRODUCTS AND MASS-MARKET PRODUCTS ?

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CRISTEL® PRODUCTS AND MASS-MARKET PRODUCTS ?

There is a huge selection of cookware available online and in local stores. Stainless steel frying pans, stainless steel utensils, pots and pans in stainless steel or other materials, in all shapes and sizes, everything is there. Although the characteristics of some products are sometimes attractive, it must be understood that these products have few advantages.  While it may be tempting to purchase product with a very short lifespan, low quality, cheap materials and poor durability, there is a real difference between mass-market utensils and CRISTEL® stainless steel utensils. Here are the main differences between CRISTEL® products and mass-market products.

THE MATERIALS

CRISTEL® puts the emphasis on the quality of the materials selected for the manufacture of its utensils. Indeed, we privilege 18/10 stainless steel which allows a healthier cooking for the body. It thus avoids any risk of migration of materials in your dishes and any contamination by particles or toxic substances, while preserving the nutritional qualities of the food.

CRISTEL® utensil coatings are made of 18/10 stainless steel or non-stick coating, while Teflon and other materials of large surface utensils do not offer the same guarantees of cooking quality. Pans and frying pans in 18/10 CRISTEL® stainless steel are also more resistant to temperature shocks and high temperatures, as well as offering greater food safety. This is not the case with the utensils offered in supermarkets, which are made of less qualitative or even harmful materials.

MANUFACTURING

All our stainless steel utensils are made in France in Fesches-le-Châtel. We are proud to offer utensils that are locally produced. CRISTEL® thus offers to cooking lovers as well as to the greatest chefs, utensils made with the greatest know-how. Once again, this is not the case for most of the products you will find in supermarkets. Almost all the utensils on the shelves are standardized and are mass-produced.

ACCORDING TO DESIGN AND FINISH

A lot of value is gained by using premium materials that is respectful of the culinary traditions In France. CRISTEL® stainless steel utensils are distinguished by their innovative designs and contemporary lines. CRISTEL® distinguishes itself by the quality of its stainless steel utensils, its local production and its high quality materials.

THE LIFE SPAN OF THE PRODUCT

Finally, the difference between CRISTEL® utensils and mass-market utensils can be explained by the lifespan of the latter. All CRISTEL® stainless steel utensils come with a lifetime guarantee against all manufacturing defects.  When you buy a pan, frying pan or any other kitchen utensil from a mass retailer, you are buying a product that will not withstand the effects of time and temperature variations. The utensil is doomed to be thrown away after a few years, if not a few months in some cases. You might as well choose the quality of CRISTEL® stainless steel utensils from the start to cook with high quality material and make the purchase profitable with a durable and reusable product.
